2017 marks 200 years since Jane Austen’s death, and is the 100th anniversary of the
Russian Revolution. The title of the exhibition will be ‘Romance and Revolution’ to
commemorate them.
Our exhibits will be themed works and also non-themed works as usual. We will have
space for works from past SLLA workshops, and this year we expect to have eight
complete travelling books from members. This year we will show many new members
works, and a lots of cards and postcards will be on sale too, along with our 2018
Calendar.
Also exhibiting is William Morris’s magnificent 1896 Kemlscott Press’s Chaucer. St Bride
library kindly let us have it during our exhibition. The book will be kept behind the glass.
Although we cannot turn the actual pages of the book, we will have PDF viewer of all the
pages of the book.
Every one can pop in, and our friendly members will greet you!
