Sara Charles: An Introduction to Medieval Ink
Sara Charles, an historian, researches a book as a material object. She enjoys "historical remaking", where she recreates manuscript production techniques to understand the practices of the past. Her talk will be about iron gall ink and will be accompanied by a pre-recorded demonstration. Please note that the entrance to the hall is at the rear of the church in Little Russell Street.
