Created mainly for friends and family, the distinctive lettering art of David Jones is based on naive letterforms and early christian inscriptions. This workshop explores these characteristic and quirky letterforms, looks at their origins for inspiration, and their ‘Jones’ arrangements, using either pencils, or crayons, or gouache, (or all three) to create these and some new forms of our own.
