A summer holiday workshop, with no stress where we will cover a range of background techniques and a few paper folding/embossing projects too - time permitting.We will start with paste painting and paper marbling using shaving foam as a base, then a bit of printing using fun foam sheets. Alan Kitching is one of the world's leading practitioners of letterpress typographical design and printmaking, with a career spanning over 50 years. In 1989 he set up The Typography Workshop, which he now runs from his studio in Kennington. In 2017 his book "A Life in Letterpress", was published by Laurence King.
