Designing multitext panels with Josie Brown

I have often looked at a piece of work where someone has cleverly fitted together pictures and different styles, weights and colours of text and wondered how it’s done. Our workshop on Saturday 26 January 2019 with Josie Brown was designed to explain and unravel the mysteries.

Josie began by taking us through the various elements we need to consider before putting a multitext panel together, then showed us examples of different types of panels and then moved on to small group projects with each group being given a brief and asked to produce ideas for a panel.

In the afternoon everyone had the opportunity to start working on a panel of their own. Lots of work with scissors, paste & sticky tape and some great results put on display at the end of the afternoon. A thoroughly enjoyable day – many thanks Josie.
