SLLA Journalling Group with Pic Hall &Chrissie Nicholls

Each month we will be running a journalling meeting in a different location around London to bring enthusiasts of this way of recording life and experiences together. Whether you’re a seasoned journal artist and/or writer, or someone who just fancies a go, you’ll be very welcome to join us. It is free of charge for members of SLLA with a small fee of £5 for non members. (Membership of the SLLA is currently £35 a year which gives you free access to our social events, digital newsletter and discounted SLLA workshops.)

The structure of the meetings will be fluid depending on who attends. However we hope that there will be some live journalling and some show and tell. It will be a relaxed meeting where we can chat as we work if we wish, drink tea and probably eat cake! Both Pic and Chrissie are seasoned journallers with very different styles which they’ll be bringing to the group so if you are new to the world of journaling then we can help you get started. We intend to run a friendly group with respect and kindness to each other regardless of experience, style or ability.

Numbers will initially be limited to ten, due to the first venue but as the weather improves we may meet outside and then we can have larger groups. We hope to arrange the monthly meetings all over London and will alternate between weekends and weekdays so that everyone gets a chance to come along.
