Anglo-Saxon Minuscule

There are numerous versions of this early lower case script that was developed from Uncial, but which is slimmer and can be slightly pointed or rather rounded, so it’s open to designing fun variations. The workshop will begin with a brief overview of the script’s origins, a demonstration of its basic form,  spacing and use of capitals, etc. We will then look at how to modify particular characteristics as well as using pen manipulation to develop your own personal version.
