Fan Making Workshop 1

SLLA have made two private group bookings for the workshop space in the Orangery at the Fan Museum, Greenwich, on 24 June and 26 July. Participants will join the Fan Making Workshop Facilitator for a three-hour session, from 2-5 p.m. Entry to the museum and tea and coffee are included in the workshop price, and we can meet earlier to look around the museum (doors open at 11 a.m.).

This is an exciting opportunity for each participant to create two different types of fan - cockade and traditional - as in the picture below. The framework for each fan is included in the workshop price. You may like to handwrite on your own paper beforehand at home or in the Orangery before the workshop begins. Full details including the paper weight and size, etc., will be given to those joining.
